Elinor M. Adams, 91, of Panama City died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at her daughters residence in Panama City.
Mrs. Adams was born in Alford, on September 12, 1924 to Will and Nora Kennedy Porter. She was one of six children, Kenneth, Raymond, Herman, Bernie and Margie Porter. She met and married Clyde H. Adams and later divorced in 1952.
She worked for years at Chipola Drug Store and later worked at Russell Sewing Factory and worked until Russell closed. Elinor worked long and hard until she was in her seventies.
Survivors include her daughter, Reba Bennett of Panama City; one sister, Margie Miller of Marianna; three grand daughters, Margaret Bradshaw of Phenix City, AL, Misti Escudero and Crystal Castillo both of Panama City.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday, February 22, 2016 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 1:30 pm, Monday, February 22, 2016 at Maddox Chapel.
The funeral cortege will leave James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel at 1:40 pm.
