She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, retired from the Jackson County School Board as a Paraprofessional. Elaine was a very talented musician, singer and artist. She was of the Assembly of God faith. Survived by her husband, William Terry Daniels; one son, DeWayne Craig Daniels and wife, Penny of Cottondale; two daughters, Sheila Daniels McClure and husband, Hoyt, Michele Daniels Chafin and husband, John all of Marianna; brothers, Sidney D. Shores, Jr., and wife, Cathleen, Stephen Shores, Wallace Shores and wife, Terri; sisters, Cecelia Johnson of Smyrna, GA., Janie Annunziata and husband, Andy of Dothan, Gwen Hodges and husband, Sam of Cottondale; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Wednesday September 15, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Maddox Chapel with Revs. Ellis Vickery and Russell Pettis officiating. Burial will follow in Vickery Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
