James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Effie B. Fey,90, of Alford died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in Marianna. She was a native of Gatesville, Tx. and has lived in Jackson County for more than 28 years. She was employed by the Something Special Resturant in Alford. Ms. Fey was a member of the Alford Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Robert Marion of San Antonio, Tx., Lloyd O Connor of Dillingham, Alaska; one sister, Ann Anderson of San Antonio, Tx.; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other extended family including Brenda Woodruff and her family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb 15, 2008 at Alford Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Alford City Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
