James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 850.482.2332 850.526.4143 Mrs. Edwina Lee Fiveash Wiley, 87, of 2976 Jefferson Street, Marianna, Florida passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday, December 17, 2009 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Dr. Bob McKibben officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens under the direction of James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 12:30 pm till funeral time. Flowers will be accepted or memorials contributions to First United Methodist Church of Marianna. Mrs. Wiley graduated from Marianna High School, Class of 1940, and began her career with Western Union Telegraph Company as a teletype operator, first in Stuart, Florida, then in Marianna, Florida through the years of World War II. in 1945, She married Fred G. Wiley and joined him in business at Nifty Cleaners and Laundry for over 40 years until her retirement; affectionately known as "Mrs. Nifty". She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Wiley was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Fred Gayle Wiley, her parents Annie Lee and Charles Fiveash of Alliance, Florida, her brothers John Lewis Fiveash, William D. Fivesah, Clifford S. Fiveash; her sister, Leilah Fiveash Thompson, all of Pensacola, Florida. Survivors include a daughter, Sonya Gayle Wiley of Marianna, a son, Frederick Edwin Wiley and wife Nina of Marianna, a daughter, Cheryl Regine Kimmel and husband, Rick of Cochran, Georgia, two grandchildren Lauren Elizabeth Wiley, of Marianna, and Richard Daniel Kimmel of Cochran, Georgia, two brothers, Charles Gene Fiveash and wife, Virginia and Paul LeGrand Fiveash, of Pensacola, Florida. The family would like to thank Dr. Jirayos Chintanadilok, Jackson Hospital Staff, Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center Staff and special friend and sitter, Trudy Kent for their care and concern.
