Edward Hartman Lewis

Edward H. Lewis, 70, of Marianna died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Jackson Hospital. Born in Paoli, PA, Mr. Lewis had resided in Jackson County for the past 26 years. He began his career with North American Rockwell at the Kennedy Space Center working on the Apollo Program; later becoming a K-mart store manager in several different states, finally retiring from managing Family Dollar store in Marianna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Edna Hartman Lewis; two brothers, Thomas and Hobie Lewis. Survivors include his wife, Patricia of Marianna; a son, Eddie Lewis of Cottondale and a daughter, Angela Glass and husband Leon of Chipley; three grandchildren, Kristina Corbin and husband Alex, Lydia Lewis and Carly Lewis-Ranew; one great-granddaughter, Kinsley Corbin. Graveside funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jack Howell officiating with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
