Edward Raymond Kmetz

Edward Raymond Kmetz, 85, of Marianna died July 21, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Kmetz was born in North Braddock, Pa. He served two tours of duty in Italy in the U S Air Force. He then worked for may years as a field service engineer in flight simulators. Preceded in death by his son, Mark James LaPointe. Survivors include his wife, Annette Grant Kmetz of Marianna; four sons, Kenneth Arthur Kmetz and wife Sandra of Atlanta, Ga., Gregory David Kmetz and wife Kathy of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Michael George Kmetz and wife Sandra of Lakewood, Colorado and Edward Raymond Kemetz, Jr. and wife Mayra of Parks, Az.; and ten grandchildren . Funeral services will be at at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Maddox Chapel with Ryan Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Freewill Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Maddox Chapel.
