Edward D. Griffin, 90, of Marianna died Friday, May 22, 2020 at Chipola Health and Rehab.
Edward was born on September 14, 1929 to Oscar and Lettie Griffin, in Marianna, Florida. He married Bettie Garner in November of 1950. They had two daughters, Dyan Thomason and Cindy Day. He worked and retired from Chrysler Corporation in California and Kokomo, Indiana. He returned to Marianna after his retirement 32 years ago and remained in Marianna until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lettie Griffin; wife, Bettie Garner Griffin; daughter, Dyan Thomason; brother, Early Griffin; and sister, Mae Roberts.
Edward is survived by daughter, Cindy Day; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Pineda and several nieces and other family members.
