A native of Steubenville, Ohio, Mr. Flowers had resided in Jackson County since 1985, he retired from River Junction Department of Corrections as an LPN and attended Welcome Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne Flowers; a daughter, Patti Lee Jones, his parents, Harry O. Flowers Sr. and Elizabeth Yeager; two brothers, Ted and Harry Flowers. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Flowers of Sneads; three sons, Michael Flowers and wife, Marsha of Bemus Point, NY, William Flowers and wife, Susan of Langford, NY and Marcus Powell of Sneads; step-sons, Gary Powell of Dellwood and David Powell of Oakland, CA.; one daughter, Susan Pawlus and husband, Pete of Virginia Beach, VA; three brothers, Earl "Butch" Flowers of Westfield, NY, David Flowers of Hamburg, NY and Jack Yeager of Grand Island, NY; two sisters, Donna Mumm and Carol Ann Mosher both of Hamburg, NY; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday, December 13, 2010 at Welcome Assembly of God Church with Rev. Charles Jackson and Dr. Thomas Batts officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Maddox Chapel.
