Edna Earl King, 84 of Marianna, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at her residence.
Ms. Edna was born in Malone, FL and was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. She worked at Sunland for many years before retiring as a supervisor. She was of the Holiness faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Grice and Minnie King; her daughter, Sandra Tharpe; brother, W.J. Grice, and three sisters, Iona Baxter, Lessie Merritt, and Lola Smith.
She is survived by her son, Wallace King and wife, Mindy, of Marianna; four daughters, Gwen Martin, and husband, Phillip of California, April Jones and fiancé, Willie Cutchin of Marianna, Becky Porter, and husband, Mike of Marianna, Charlene Hinson, and husband, Rich of Lake Placid; one sister, Lottie Haney, and husband, John of Seagrove Beach, FL; eight grand children; 16 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Pastor Terry Broome officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in Marianna.
