Eddie Jean Pettis, 82, of Bascom died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lola Mae Everett and her husband Herman Daniel Pettis Sr. who died in 1996. Jean is survived by two sons, Danny Pettis and wife Becky of Mt. Juliet Tennessee and Mike Pettis and wife Gay of Merritt Island; five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 2, 2017 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Pastor Dallas Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
