Eddie A. Ashley, 72, died Monday, May 16, 2016 at Bay Medical Center.
Eddie was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He served in the Vietnam Conflict and later retired from the Department of the Navy.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Emza Ashley; three brothers, Elmer Ashley, Gene Ashley and Clyde Ashley; one sister, Iris Lou Ashley. He is survived by one son, Thomas Ashley; one daughter, Jeanny Tomlin; two sisters, Clotele Barnes and Marlene Tinnel; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. (EST) Friday, May 20, 2016 in the Tallahassee National Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
