He turned 70 on Nov. 26th. A native of Bristol, Fl., he lived most of his life in Jackson County where he retired from Florida Farm Bureau as Agency Manager. He enjoyed working with his cows at his Greenwood farm. He was an avid baseball fan, a local sports supporter and civic leader. He was a long time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Marianna. His greatest joy was being with his family. Survivors include his wife, Judy; his daughter, Bunnee Mathis and husband, Danny of Marianna; his son, Stephen Revell and wife, Kelly of Panama City; six grandchildren, Jake Mathis and wife Brooke, Jeff Mathis, Jill Mathis all of Marianna, Matt Revell of Auburn, AL., Andy Revell of Birmingham, AL. and Dean Revell of Panama City. Three brothers, Gordon and Jack both of Bristol, and Gene of Tallahassee. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2008 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Marianna with Bishop Danny Sims and Bro. Gerald Gause officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Mystic Cemetery in Bristol with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Sunday at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
