James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Earlene Deal, 77, of Sneads died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Jackson Hospital. Mrs. Deal was born in Sneads to Charles "Johnnie" and Sallie Howell, and lived all of her life in Jackson County. She retired as Director of Nursing at Florida State Hospital after many years of service. She was a member of El Bethel Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her husband, Buford Deal; three sons, William Wilson Jr. of Tallahassee, Randy Deal and wife, Loretta of Westville, Danny Deal and wife, Amy of Westville; two daughters, Peggy Sue Carmichael and husband, Jeff of Tifton, GA. and Lisa Gaye Wilson of Lynn Haven; two brothers, Robert Howell of Mobile AL. and Raymond Howell and wife, Eva Mae of Sneads; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at El Bethel Assembly of God with Rev. Clinton Howell officiating. Interment will follow in Dykes Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services at El Bethel Assembly of God, 2503 El Bethel Church Rd. Grand Ridge, Fl.
