Born in Geneva, AL on July 28, 1946 to the late James and Lucille Clark Smith. Beloved mother and grandmother, Ms. Dorothy loved fishing and loved to express her love by cooking for family and friends. She was a member of Lighthouse Community Church.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2014 at James Sikes, Maddox Chapel with Sis. Frances Dudley officiating. Burial to follow in Dykes Cemetery Marianna, with James Sikes, Maddox Chapel directing. Family will receive friends 12 p.m. until time of service.
Preceded in death by daughter Donna Jean Furniss and brother Jimmy Smith.
Survived by son Roger Liles; daughter Pamela Harrell, Marianna; three brothers Edward Smith(Regina), Bristol, Phillip Smith(Margaret), Altha, Glen Smith(Pam), Marianna; two sisters Shirley Downes, Auburndale, FL, Debra McClain(David), Cottondale; grandchildren Ronnie Furniss(Mendi), Cottondale, Johnathan Furniss(Kimberly), Talbott, TN, eight other grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
