James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Dorothy May "Dottie" Morgan, 68, of Grand Ridge, entered into eternal rest on March 6, 2014. Dottie was born July 31, 1945 to John and Dorothy Butler in Jenkintown, PA. She loved doing for her family. She was very active and involved in the things and lives of people she was passionate about. Dottie loved to fish, work outside, pull up trees, and mow grass. She was always ready to listen when someone needed to talk. Many people came to her for advice. She loved her church, her family and her extended family. Dottie was a member of Hasty Pond Baptist Church of Marianna. She loved her great-grandson Tripp, she called him her ray of sunshine. Dottie was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Howard Jay Edvabsky, Sr.; and brother, Charles Butler, Sr. Dottie leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Jim Morgan; brother, John Butler, Jr. (Audrey) of Paris, TN; daughter, Charlotte Edvabsky of Grand Ridge; son, Jay Edvabsky of Marianna; a special sister in law, Vicki Woods of Wausau; step children, Connie Bennett, Patti Padgett (Kenny), Cecil Morgan (Connie) all of Texas; 15 grandchildren; a very special great grandson Tripp; an aunt and uncle; several cousins, nieces, and nephews, and a lot of friends. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Revs. Paul Smith and Lamar Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Family will receive friends Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
