Dorothy Mae Barnes

Dorothy Mae (Jackson) Barnes, 67 of Marianna died Friday, October 5, 2007 at her home. A life long resident of Jackson County, Mrs. Barnes was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Marianna. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph C. and Estelle Blair Jackson. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Harold Barnes of Marianna, one daughter, Debra Barnes Duncan and husband Don of Round Rock, Tx.; one son, Keith Barnes of Marianna; five grandchildren, Christopher Kern and wife April of Gulfport, Ms., Beth Barnes of Gulfport, Ms, Rachael and Whitney Duncan of Round Rock, Tx. and Brian Barnes of Marianna; one great granddaughter, Laura Kern of Gulfport, Ms.; two brothers, Neal Jackson of Tampa and Bobby Jackson and wife Lois of Cottondale. Funeral services will conducted at 11 am Monday, October 8, 2007 at Maddox Chapel with Brother Michael Clark officiating, burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Maddox Chapel. "
