Doris Schaub

Doris Schaub, 86 of Bascom died Thursday, November 8, 2007 in Bascom. A native of Milford, Iowa, Mrs. Schaub was a former owner-operator of a hunting and fishing lodge in Canada and a former resident of Montgomery and Irvington, Alabama and had resided in Bascom for the past 18 months. She was preceded in death by her husband George Schaub. Survivors include her daughter, Rev. Julie Schaub of Bascom; one son, Jeffrey Schaub and wife Heather of Kelowna, BC; one sister, Dorothy Rohde of Beloit, Wi.; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Service of Remembrance will be held at 11 am Tuesday, November 20 , 2007 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Walker Epps and Rev. Larry Bryans officiating, burial will follow at a later date at Bascom United Methodist Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
