James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Doris Allen Keel, 93, died Monday, December 10, 2012, in Chipley. She was born in Cairo GA. on January 24, 1919 to Leonard and Leona Allen. Doris was a Sales Clerk at Thrift's and Daffin's department stores. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Buford Keel; two sons, Buford Allen Keel of Cottondale and Jerry Ronald Keel of Lawrenceville, GA. She is survived by her son, Ernest Dixon Keel and wife, Yvonne, of Lawrenceville, GA.; four daughters, Virginia Laramore and husband, Gordon, of Marianna; Patricia Griffin and husband, Charles, of Chattahoochee; Mary Elizabeth Keel of Lynn Haven; and Rebecca Burns and husband, Raymond, of Fountain; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Keel of Lawrenceville, GA.; 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and a special care giver, Bertha Robinson. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Cottondale. Interment will follow in First United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cottondale with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 5 to 7 p.m., at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
