Donnie Sullivan

Donald Richard "Donnie" Sullivan, 77, of Marianna passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, in Bonifay, Florida. He was born October 23, 1946, in Alliance (Sink Creek), Florida at his Grandpa, Pearson Peacock’s farm. 

He retired over 20 years ago. He liked spending his time as a skilled craftsman with woodworking and was an amazing pencil artist. Donnie will be missed by all.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, George and Leona Peacock Sullivan of Marianna, Diane Sullivan D'Agostino of Brockton, MA (Ron), and brother, Douglas Sullivan of Marianna, FL, and one grandson, Jaden Sullivan. His survivors include his children: son, Jonathan Sullivan (Beth) of Jefferson, GA and his children, Allona, Landon, Kali, Aiden, Bridget, and Lily; his daughter, April Sullivan Baxter (Robert) of Rutledge, GA and her children, Cassie, Taylor, Georgia, Riley, and Lauren; his son, Stephen Sullivan of Crossville, TN and his children, Caleb and Grayson; his son, Jared Sullivan of Salt Lake City, UT; his daughter, Patti Sullivan Finch (Kris) of Union Point, GA and her children Zoey, Emily and Kamden. He has one living brother, George Michael Sullivan of Marianna (June). Donnie is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, as well as many Peacock family and Sullivan family aunts, uncles, and cousins. Donnie is also survived by his significant other, Patricia Ann Gibson. She cared for Donnie to the end and was with him at the time of his passing. 

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 11 AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Marianna with Bishop Jon Sims officiating. Interment will follow in Sink Creek Cemetery Marianna with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Family will receive friends at the church, Thursday, beginning at 9:30 AM.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Sullivan (son), Stephen Sullivan (son), Jared Sullivan (son), Kris Finch (son-in-law), Robert Baxter (son-in-law), and Riley Sanchez (grandson).
