James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 Donava Lavern Stephens, 75, of Grand Ridge died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Jackson Hospital. She was a native of Jacksonville, lived most of her life in Jackson County where she retired from Florida State Hospital, was a member of the Marianna Ladies of the Moose Lodge. Lavern enjoyed working in her flowers, spending time with her great-grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Stephens, and one daughter, Linda Lewis. Survivors include sons, Warren Williams of Warner Robins, GA., Wade Williams and wife, Sharon of Newnan, GA., Johnny and Angie Williams of Grand Ridge; Jeffery Stephens and wife, Jenna of Panama City Beach, K. C. Stephens and wife, Michel of Terre Haute, Ind.; one daughter, Carla Webb and husband, Delton of Altha,; brothers, Elick Morgan of Jacksonville, Harold Hobgood of Marianna; sisters, Edna May of Arlington, TX., Gwen Lipford of Marianna; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Wayne Fussell officiating. Interment will follow in Carpenter Cemetery Grand Ridge, with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
