He was born in Penn Yan, New York on March 30, 1935, to Stewart & Claryce (Randall) Wilson. He lived in CLH for the past 15 years. Donald served in the US Air Force, was a truck driver for 17 years, was an avid reader and always had the newspaper and his book collection close by. He was preceded in death by his precious wife of 43 years, Nicoletta Florence (D'Ortona), two sisters, and his grandson, Jason Michael Hartley. Survivors include his son, Mark Wilson; daughters, Karen (Charles) Jarmon and Diane Collins; brother, Kevin Wilson; grandchildren, Brandon and Jenna Hartley; DJ (Kim) Long, Brian Long, Nicole (Sean) Blanchard; great-grandchildren, JR Long, and "Butterbean" Blanchard, due in August , 2010; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Wilson; several nieces , nephews, cousins and his loving dog and companion, K2. Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. , Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Compass Lake Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
