Diann Mcalpin O'Bryan

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Diann McAlpin O'Bryan, 64, of Marianna, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at her residence. Diann was born in Cypress and was a lifelong resident. She was a nurse at Florida State Hospital for more than 28 years and was a member of Sunny Hill Pentecostal Church in Altha. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy O'Bryan; her parents, L.B. and Ella Fair McAlpin; three brothers, JR McAlpin, Gene McAlpin and Sherall McAlpin. She is survived by two daughters, Samantha Stephens and husband Joe, Melissa Rohde and husband, Chris; six grandchildren, Brittany Keel (Josh), Colby Stephens (Debra), Dillon Syfrett, Morgan Stephens (Byron), Fairah Stephens, Rylee Rohde; one great-grandchild, Jorden Laster; two sisters, Elosie Abila, Anita McLendon (Roger); six brothers, Jack McAlpin (Janice), Harold McAlpin (Ellen), Larry McAlpin, Wayne McAlpin, Rickie McAlpin (Anna), Darrel McAlpin; two special sister-in-laws, Rosie Simmons, Kathy McAlpin; five special nieces, Natasha Simmons, Jai'Dise Bryant, Ja'lonna Beyant, Ja'Ziyah Bryant, Jalijah Bryant. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Chris Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Mill Springs Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. The family would like to give a special thanks to Covenant Hospice for their love and support during this time.
