Dennis was a long-time employee of 20 years with M&W Construction. He helped build and remodel many businesses and homes in Jackson and surrounding counties. He loved having a garden that he could share with friends and the community. He was a lover of dogs and enjoyed training them. He loved farm animals, especially chickens. In his last few months of battling cancer, he especially enjoyed his three hens and "Red" his rooster.
He was always a determined man, especially these last few months as he tried to live a normal life through his sickness. He even planted some potatoes, onions, squash, and collards during this period of time. Dennis was also an avid pool shark. He played as much as possible and loved teaching others how to play. Most of all, he enjoyed playing pool with his family and friends.
To sum up his life he was a "Good Old Southern Boy" that loved his family and animals.
