Deanne Walters, 73, of Sneads died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Jackson Hospital.
Deanne and husband, Doug met in England while he was stationed there in The United States Air Force at Chelveston, England. He took his loving bride to America where they settled in Northwest Florida with Sneads, FL being their final destination in 1963. Their first two children were born in England and the remaining three were born in Florida.
She was Preceded in death by her parents, Philip Gordon Leeson and Winifred Rhoda Leeson; sisters, Judy Adcock and Lynn George.
She is survived by her husband, William Douglas Walters; children, Lee and Susie of Adel, GA, Candy and Harrold of Gulf Breeze, FL, Loralie and Claude of Alford, Sandy and Janny of Sneads, Jamie of Sneads; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Sister Renalta and husband, Richard Hall resides in England with numerous close family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church with Rev. Wayne Fussell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friend's one hour prior to services at the church.
