Davis Windsor Ramsey of Sneads, Florida, was born on August 15, 1945, and passed away on March 4, 2025, at Jackson Hospital.
Windsor was born in Bristol, Florida to Davis and Mozelle Baker Ramsey. He spent his teenage years in Tallahassee, FL, and attended Leon County High School, as well as the University of Florida. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a proud patriot and Gator fan. Windsor retired as a teacher from the Florida State Government. He had a lifelong love for learning and reading. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Howell Ramsey; his son, Philip Ramsey (Wendy Ramsey) of Cary, NC; and his daughter, Rebecca Ramsey (Hendrik Chen) of Oviedo, FL. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Gabriella and Elena Chen; and his sister, Cynthia Ramsey (Dino) of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
