David Windham, 69, of Greenwood died Friday, September 9, 2022 at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center in Panama City.
He was a graduate of Marianna High School and worked as Grounds Keeper, as well as assisting many others at Sunland for over 45 years. David enjoyed going to movies, reading, listening to music, and attending airshows, and was especially fond of animals. He was a lifelong member of Greenwood United Methodist Church.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Billie Paul "Joe" and Helen Patrick Windham; and brother-in-law, Chris Reeger.
Survivors include two sisters, Sheila Reeger of Jacksonville, FL and Lynn Baxley (Joey) of Greenwood, FL; nieces, Margaret Ann Reeger, Elizabeth Reeger; nephews, Robert "JoJo" Baxley III (Nikki) and Patrick Ryan Baxley.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 16, 2022 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Dr. Irvin Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Dellwood Methodist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 16, 2022 beginning at 12:00 Noon until service time at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
Memorial donations to "K-9's for Warriors" would be appreciated at 114 Camp K-9 Road, Ponte Vedra, Florida 32081.
