David Randall Quick

David R. Quick, 58, went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2009 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. A native of Marianna, David was a 15 year veteran of the U. S. Navy, retired as a supervisor from Sunland Center and was a member of the Archeology Club . He enjoyed and loved the outdoors, fishing, snorkeling and diving. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Quick; two step-sons, Josh and Terrence Conway all of Marianna; his parents, Joe and Beth Quick of Marianna; one brother, Joe A. Quick, Jr. and wife Mary of Gaithersburg, Maryland; one sister, Diane Thames of Laurel, MS; three nephews, Scott Thames, Jr. of Miami, William Thames of Laurel, MS and Joe A. Quick, III and wife Tracey of St. Louis, MO; one niece, Anglea Graves and husband David Postma of Michigan; a host of cousins and friends who loved him and will truly miss him as well as his family. Memorization will be by cremation with a Memorial service 6 pm Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Roland Rabon officiating with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm till service time, Tuesday,, June 30, 2009 at Maddox Chapel
