Clemmons, 47, of Marianna, died Thursday, December 24, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Clemmons was born in Hartford, Alabama, grew up in Holmes County where he was a 1980 graduate of Bethlehem High School near Bonifay. He then moved to Marianna where he has lived most of his life, David attended Potter's House of Prayer and had worked for several years in food services as assistant manager for McDonalds in West Marianna. He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Clemmons. Survivors include his mother, Betty Clemmons; one son, John David Clemmons; two daughters, Shrondra C. Robinson and Miranda Weakland and husband, Gary of Marianna; two brothers, Wayne Clemmons of Bonifay and Phillip Clemmons of Lynn Haven; one grandson, Greir A. Weakland V. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. David Eldridge officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
