Dave W. Waller, 61, of Marianna died Thursday, November 19, 2015.
A native of Marianna, Florida, Mr. Waller was employed by the Jackson County School Board from 1984-2012 as a classroom teacher at Alford Elementary, Cottondale High School, and Marianna High School. While employed as a teacher he touched countless lives, both as a teacher and coach. He owned and operated Waller Enterprises for the past 20 years selling office equipment and restaurant supplies.
He was preceded in death by his parents; David and Bell Waller and one brother, Robert Waller
Survivors include his wife, Patty Waller; one daughter, Karrie Hosey and husband Reginald of Orlando; one son, Jeremiah Waller and wife, Mary of Bristol; step-son, Mark Porter and wife, Sharon, of Marianna; step-daughter, Lori Lassmann and husband, Tommy of Marianna; five grandchildren, Sabrina Porter, Austin and Caydan Waller, and Georgia and Garrett Lassmann; one brother, Frank Waller (Sandra); five sisters, Sue Croom and husband Lowell, Davine Shores and husband David, Betty Hussey and husband Donnie, Patsy Tramel and husband Jerry, and Clarice Boyette and husband Mike.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Evangel Worship Center with Pastor LaVon Pettis and Pastor Donnie Hussey officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service at Evangel Worship Center.
