Danny Eugene Raines, 72, of Marianna, FL died Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Jackson Hospital.
He was born January 27, 1949 to Robert Lee Raines and Mary Jane Raines. Danny always loved being outside and animals. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and made a life for himself farming.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Eddie Raines; sister-in-law, Marie Raines; brother-in-law, William "Nig" Wright; nephews, Allen Raines and Mike Rehberg.
He is survived by his sisters, Vera Mae Rehberg and husband, Shirley of Kynesville, Jenell Melvin and husband, Ronald of Marianna, Katherine Wright of Marianna, Christine Tice and husband, James of Cottondale; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside funeral services will be at 9 AM Friday, August 6, 2021 at Bright Prospect Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Wright officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
