Daisy H. McCroan

Daisy Hollister McCroan, 98, of Marianna died Monday, May 12, 2008 at Jackson Hospital. Mrs. McCroan was a native of Marianna, a former resident of Melbourne, Fl. before moving back to Jackson County. she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry McCroan; a granddaughter, Amy Kathleen Kiss; four sisters, Anna Mae Parish, Mabel Lee, Thelma Raley and Gladys McCroan; a brother, J. G. Hollister. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Buchanan of Hillsboro, Or.; a granddaughter, Sarah Buchanan of Portland. Or.; one brother, Lenwood Hollister of Lakeland; one sister, Dottei D. Stutts of Tampa; one great-grandchild, Mary Alice Kiss of Metaline Falls, Washington. Funeral service will be at 2 pm Friday, May 16, 2008 at Maddox Chapel, interment will follow at Cypress Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, May 16, 2008 one hour prior to funeral services at Maddox Chapel. The McCroan family would like to express their appreciation to the Chipola Nursing Pavilion staff, Dr. Steven Spence, Coveant Hospice and Jackson Hospital for their loving care.
