Mrs. Curtis Irene Weeks, 87, of Sneads passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006 quietly at her home after an entended illness. She was of Holiness faith. Ms. Weeks was born on October 15, 1918 in Jackson County were she has been a life long resident She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Weeks; two daughters, Rosie Lee McCroan and Linny V. Neel; a son, Thomas Weeks; three grandsons, Johnny Rogers, Bubba McCroan and Hughie Joe Casey; a granddaughter, Rhonda McCroan and a great granddaughter, Angel N. Strickland. Survivors include three sons, Maxwell Weeks and Jerry Weeks both of Sneads and Ernest "Skeeto" Weeks of Pelham, Ga.; three daughters, Virginia Kent, Liz Weeks and Nancy White all of Sneads; 28 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and five great great grandchidlren. Graveside funeral services will held 2 PM Tuesday, April 25th at Cow Pen Pond Cemetery with Rev. William Walker and Rev. Carroll Senn officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel will direct. Family will receive friends Monday, April 24th from 5 - 7 PM at James & Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel. Justin Powell, Ronnie Neel, M. Jess McWilliams, Chuckie Wright, Tony Rogers, Joe Madrid, Andy Heath and C. Howard McNamee, III will serve as pallbearers.
