She was born in Jackson County, FL, February 21, 1934. She resided in Gulf Breeze, FL from 1970-2005. After retirement she moved back to Jackson County and lived on the family farm in Two Egg. Cozine was always an active member of her church, teaching children as well as senior adults. While living in Gulf Breeze she was a member of East Brent Baptist Church. After moving to Two Egg, she became a member of First Baptist Church, Marianna, FL. She enjoyed her role as a mother and homemaker. She especially enjoyed being "Mumsy" to her four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Edward W. Bennett, and Beatrice Bennett Kittrell. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edwin Duce, her sons Dale E. Duce (Nancy) and Daniel K. Duce (Julie). She is also survived by four grandchildren, Adam D. Duce, Allyson H. Duce, Andrew D. Duce (Kristina), and Ashley A. Duce. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Carolyn B. Mirisola (Richard) and a several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at First Baptist Church, Marianna, Florida with Dr. Jeffery Shannon Eads officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. Charitable contributions may be made in memory of Cozine B.
