Coba B. Williams

Mr. Coba B. Williams, 94, of Marianna died Sunday, November 23, 2008 at his residence. He was a native of Boone County, West Virginia, served in the U S Army, and retired as a coal miner. Mr. Williams was a member of the Marianna Church of Christ. He is survived by three grandchildren, Stacey K. Fisher of Chipley, Cheryl Kern of Gulfport, MS., David Kern of Jefferson, OH.; eight great-grandchildren, Vanessa Kern, Bryan Whitfield, Matthew & Michael Fisher, Alex & Jillian Kern, Beth Barnes and Christopher Kern; one great-great-grandchild, Laura Kern. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. EDT, Friday November, 28, 2008 at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel in Cedar Grove, West Virginia. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. CDT, Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel
