Clyde R. Moneyham

Clyde R. Moneyham, 79, of Grand Ridge, Fl. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2009. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Moneyham was a resident of Shady Grove for the past fifty-two years. He was a member of the Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from Apalachee Correctional Institute. He loved fishing, farming, horses, going to church and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Alene Yon Moneyham; one daughter, Brenda Gail Deese & husband Duke; three sons, Ronnie Moneyham and wife Donna; Michael Moneyham and wife Barbara; J.R. Moneyham and wife Genice, all of Grand Ridge; one brother, Bobby Moneyham and wife Ladon of Chattahoochee, Fl; three sisters, Ollie Mae Neel and Virgie Mae Stephens, both of Grand Ridge and Joyce Wilson of Tallassee, Al.; Eleven grandchildren and twenty-great grandchildren along with numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lump Moneyham and mother Callie Gregg Moneyham; daughter, Katherine Diane Moneyham; brother, Royce Moneyham; sister, Erma Jean Alford and grandson Ted Alan Moneyham. Funeral services will be held 10 am Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church with Revs. Steve Thurmond and Gary Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
