Clifford Austin Tatum, 83, of Marianna died Sunday, April 23, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at Maddox Chapel. Burial will follow at Old Shiloh Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. He was a native of Calhoun County having moved to Jackson County in 1949. Mr. Tatum served in the US Army for two years and retired from Sunland after 22 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna. Mr. Tatum was preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Pearl Chason Tatum. Survivors include his wife Margie Tatum of Marianna; 2 sons, Austin Tatum and wife Susan, Tommy Tatum and wife Dawn all of Tallahassee; 3 daughters, Carolyn Skipper and husband Wade of Kynesville, Charlotte McClendon and husband Eddie, Alethea Roberts and husband Billy all of Marianna; 2 brothers, Jodie Tatum and wife Sarah of Crawfordville and Newton Tatum and wife Kathryn of Altha; one sister, Aline Morris and husband Amos of Kynesville; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Michael Petty officiating, burial will follow at Old Shiloh Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, April 25 at Maddox Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice of Marianna, 4440 Lafayette Street, Suite C, Marianna, Florida 32446
