"Hot Shot" Harrison, 84, of Marianna, died Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Jackson Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and retired from Baxter's Asphalt and Dolomite, Inc. He loved fishing and outdoor cooking. Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife of 55 years, Evelyn Harrison; one daughter, Debbie Gainey Pippin and husband Ken; one grandson, Austin Gainey ; one granddaughter, Alisa Gainey Miller and husband Josh and one great-granddaughter, Savannah Miller, all of Marianna and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. He is also survived by his long time friend, Harold "Hook" Barber and wife Diane. In lieu of a Memorial service, friends and family are invited to visit at his home any time. Also, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Jackson Hospital. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
