Chrystelle Crawford "Cricket" Ivey, 88, of Marianna died Thursday, June 25, 2008 in Marianna. She was born in Dawson, Georgia, lived in Jackson County for most of her life. She and her late husband, Charles Leonard Ivey owned and operated Iveys Food Store for many years in Marianna. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Edwin Ivey; a brother, Edward Wesley Crawford of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Nellie Catherine Ratliff of Marianna. Survivors include one son, Charles Leonard Ivey, Jr. and his wife, Sheila of Tallahassee; three daughters, Peggy Cook and husband, Vernon of Marianna, Bobbie Williams and George, Chrys Ivey Duncan all of Tallahassee; one brother, Cecil Crawford of Marianna; three sisters, Betty Moore of Marianna, Sara Bray of Seminole, Al., Zelma Murphy of Plano, Tx.; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; one niece, Donna Crawford of Marianna. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Roland Rabon officiaiting. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will direct. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday, June 27, 2008 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
