Charlie Howard Green

Charlie Howard Green, 84, of Sneads died Thursday, March 27 at his residence. A life long resident of Jackson County, Mr. Green was retired from Florida State Hospital and was also a retired farmer and a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two sons, Byron and Jimmy Green; his parents, Counce and Haley Hayes Green; one brother, C. M. Green and a sister, Baby Doll. Survivors include his wife, Lena L. Green of Sneads; six sons, Wayne Green and wife Christie of Bristol, Thomas Green and wife Dianne, Allen Green and wife Kay all of Two Egg, Terry Green and wife Myrtle of Grand Ridge, Lynn Green of Two Egg, Mark Green and wife Melanie Green of Lovedale; 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday, March 30, 2008 at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Carr officiating, burial will follow at the church cemetery, James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends fro 6 to 8 pm Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Maddox Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions maybe made to the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church building fund. "
