Charles Lonnie Weeks of Two Egg, passed away at his residence on November 18, 2024, at the age of 76. He was born on May 24, 1948, in Sneads to Lonnie and Grace Cloud Weeks. 

A lifelong farmer, Charles was known for his unwavering commitment to cultivating the land and tending to his farm animals. His deep love for the simple joys of life was evident in his enjoyment of fishing. Charles' fondness for all his animals, from chickens and pigs to cats and dogs, reflected his nurturing spirit and warmth.

He is survived by two daughters, Gail Jeter of Greenwood, and Teresa Adkins (Gary) of Marianna, along with one grandson, Cody Adkins, also of Marianna. Charles is also survived by four sisters: Mable Alday of Chipley, Ruby Love of Greenwood, Mary Lou Sinner of Marianna, and Nita Fay Weeks of Pensacola. Their love and support were a source of strength for him throughout his life.

Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Weeks, whose memory he cherished deeply. He is also preceded by his son-in-law, Flake Jeter, a sister, Carnell Bateman, and a brother, Davis Weeks.

Charles Lonnie Weeks will be remembered for his steadfast dedication to his family and his love of animals and nature. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever hold him dear.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 21, 2024, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Tommy Moore officiating. Interment following at Cow Pen Pond Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.
