Charles "Bo" Parsons,64, of Cottondale, FL, passed away on July 28, 2023. He was a fighter in every sense of the word, known for his unwavering determination and resilience. Bo was born on June 1, 1959 to Rosemary Hand and the late Charles Cooper Parsons.
Bo had a passion for working on his van, Nascar and Classic Rock. He would spend hours tinkering with his van, ensuring it was in top-notch condition. His love for music was evident in his desire to get his vintage stereo rocking again, which he cherished deeply. Bo was always ready for a project!
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Cooper Parsons, whom he was eager to see again. Bo's family was his pride and joy and he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his dedicated life partner and friend, Lisa Parsons. His loving daughters, Heather Winstead, Lora Charles, along with her husband, Carl Charles. He was a doting grandfather to Emma, Sara, Chloe, Grayson, Elizabeth, and Charlotte. He also leaves behind his endearing mother, Rosemary Hand, and his younger brothers, John, Paul and Chad Parsons.
A cookout memorial to celebrate Bo's life will be Saturday, September 2, 2023. Family and friends will gather to share memories, stories, and great classic rock as they honored the life of Bo.
Bo's fighting spirit and kind heart will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through the cherished memories he leaves behind.
