Charles E. Morse, III, 86, of Marianna died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at
Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Marianna, Mr. Morse had resided in Jackson County his entire life as an electrician and business owner. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and Florida National Guards. Mr. Morse was an avid hunter, he was affectionately known as "Big Buck" to his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Lessie Mae Morse; two brothers, Stanley and Gene Morse.
Survivors include his wife, Betty H. Morse; a son Larry Morse; a daughter, Beverly Griffin; grandchildren, Robby Sims, Adam Morse, Kelly Land and Ben Morse all of Marianna.
Funeral services will be at 10 am, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Revs. Roland Rabon, Gino Mayo and William Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 9 am until funeral time, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Maddox Chapel.
