Charles William "Chuck" Melnik,II, 34 of Lovedale, died Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Born in Junction City, KS, Chuck had resided in Jackson County since 1988, was a farmer by trade and a member of Lovedale Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Rhonda Melnik of Lovedale; one daughter, Tiffany Blighton and husband Steven of Malone; his mother, Judy Jones and husband Donnie of Malone and his father, Charles Melnik and wife Julie of Panama City; one sister, Renee Melnik of Great Falls. MT and a special friend, Chip Welch; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral will be 2 pm Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Lovedale Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Durham officiating, interment will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Maddox Chapel. "
