James & Sikes Funeral Home Marianna Florida 482-2332 Charles Leon Hamilton Charles Leon Hamilton age 63 passed away in his home in Gordon, AL on Aug. 26, 2010. Charles was a native of Jackson County, Fl, born to the late Leon and Estelle Dickens Hamilton on September 17, 1946 in Bascom, FL. He joined the United States Marine Corp in 1964 and served in Vietnam where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He served in the Marines until 1968 after returning home he re-enlisted in the United States Air force in 1972 where he served until his retirement in 1988. Charles was pre-deceased in death by his brothers Tom Hamilton of Greenwood and James Hamilton of Marianna and one sister, Mary Corbett of Greenwood. Charles is survived by his son, Mickey Charles Hamilton of Lawrenceville, GA and his daughter, Kelly Nicole Hamilton of Suwanee, GA. Brother, Robert L. Hamilton of Lakeland, FL.
