Charles W. Cook, 74, of Tallahassee, formerly of Jackson County died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at The University of Alabama Birmingham Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Cook was of the Baptist faith, a retired self employed Mobile Home Installer, a U. S. Army veteran, a Gator fan and a devoted Father. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie C. and Sarah F. Goodwin Cook. Survivors include one son, Chris Cook and wife, Rebecca of Tallahassee; two daughters, Deborah C. Norred and husband, Stoney of Mobile and Rosemarie C. Vagnini and husband, Brian of Tallahassee; three sisters, Frances Dudley of Marianna, Louise Lollie of Grand Ridge and Ruby Edenfield of Marianna; one grandson, Charles Caleb Cook of Tallahassee. Funeral services will be at 10 am CDT Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Frances Dudley officiating, burial will follow at Waldroff Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday, April 15, 2007 at the home of Mr. Cook's sister, Louise Lollie, 2224 Porter Street in Grand Ridge."
