Charles Lee "Charlie" Clark

Charles Lee "Charlie" Clark, 83 of Marianna died Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Jackson Hospital. Born in Houston County, Alabama, Charlie was a U. S. Army veteran and a former resident of Houston, Texas, he had resided in Jackson County for the past 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie James "Jim" and Ella Aplin Clark and his step mother, Effie Lee Clark. Survivors include his wife, Betty Clark of Marianna; one son, Perry Clark and wife DiAnna of Wylie, TX; one brother, James D. Clark and wife Myrtis of Houston,TX; two sisters, Nobie Alexander and husband James W. of Wewahitchka and Betty J. Deese and husband Louie of Altha; two grandchildren, Taressa Clark Bazdanes and husband Paul, Amber Clark; two great grandchildren, James Avery Key and Jakob Alexander Bazdanes. Funeral service will be 2 pm Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Maddox Chapel, interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Altha. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday, April 6, 2009 at Maddox Chapel. "
