Carrie B. Hollon

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Carrie B. Hollon, 83, of Bristol passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Jackson Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Cottonwood, AL, Mrs. Hollon had lived in Liberty County for the past ten years, but always considered Marianna her home. She was retired from the State of Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. She loved to garden and fish, but nothing made her happier than spending time with her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, of more than 50 years, James C.Hollon. Survivors include her son, James Wade Hollon and Nancy of Bristol; two grandchildren, Renea Hollon Bell and Brian of Bristol and Jason Hollon of Grand Ridge; three great-grandchildren, Kari A. Hollon Felts and Andrew of Jacksonville, Kristina E. Ball of Vernon, and Nathan Hollon of Grand Ridge. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel in Marianna, FL. Private graveside services will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Cottondale Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
