Carolyn "Lynn" Slack

Carolyn A. Rodgers Slack, 65, of Sneads died Friday, August 11, 2006 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 15, at 9 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Chester Padgett officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will direct. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Maddox Chapel. Survivors include her husband Stephen R. Slack; five sons, Gavin Wiggins and wife Kimberley of Nashville, Tn., Garrett Wiggins and wife Melinda of Steamboat Springs, Colo., Craig Wiggins and wife Hazel of Graceville, Derick Slack and wife Kim of Pen Yan, NY., Chad Slack and wife Tiffany of Charlotte, NC; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Rodgers and Dennis Rodgers both of Birmingham, Al. Lynn was a native of Yazo City, Mississippi, has worked as a Registered Nurse for more than 35 years. She has lived in Jackson County for the past five years and was of the Christian faith.
