Carol Gene "Pappy" Arnold Sr., 71, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, October 22, 2015, with his family by his side.
He was born in Metter, Georgia, to C.W.O. Carol Eugene and Sarah D. Arnold. He was the oldest of three siblings. Mr. Arnold was a graduate of Richard Arnold High School, Served in the Army during Vietnam, and later made his living as a Dredge Engineer.
He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Susan Arnold.
He is survived by his mother, Sarah D. Arnold; one brother, Donald Jerome Arnold; two sons, Allen Arnold, and Carol Gene Arnold Jr.; two daughters, Rebecca Arnold Seckinger and Heather Arnold; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
No services planned at this time, memorization will be by cremation. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
