Stephens, 82, of Cottondale, Florida died Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Jackson Hospital. Born to William & Mildred Murray, March 15, 1926 in Groveland, Florida, She was Valadictarian of her graduating class at Groveland High School, lived most of her life in Jackson County and was a member of Cottondale First Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, James E. Stephens, Jr.; her sister Ruth and brother Doyle. Survivors include one son, Steve and Stephens and wife, Julie of Ft. Pierce,; two daughters, Ginger Coulliette, Frances Pippin and husband, Billy all of Cottondale; one brother, Gordon Murray of Groveland; one sister, Dolly Cloud of Tampa; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Cottondale First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Brock officiating.
